Kris Fuhr
Vice-President & Mainline Project Manager, Denali
Mr. Fuhr began his career with Halliburton company in 1982 as a field support engineer, U.S. Lower 48. In 1983, Kris joined Atlantic Richfield Company as a facility and project engineer at the Sheep Mountain CO2 Unit in Colorado. In 1985, he transferred to the San Juan Basin in an operations management role until 1988, when he transferred to an engineering and project management role. In 1991 Kris transferred to Alaska and held various positions over the next 7 years, including facility engineer, maintenance supervisor, project engineer, and facility engineering supervisor, in both Prudhoe Bay and Anchorage, Alaska. In 1998, he returned to the North Slope as the Operations Manager for the Greater Point McIntyre complex. In 2000, Phillips Petroleum Company purchased ARCO Alaska Inc. and Kris was assigned as the Alaska Capital Projects Manager for Phillips operated properties. In 2003, Kris transferred to Houston, Texas, where he served as the Manager of infrastructure engineering and project management, upstream technology. In May 2006, Fuhr became General Manager of worldwide exploration and production projects, in the project development organization. Kris joined Denali – The Alaska Gas Pipeline LLC as Vice President, Mainline Project General Manager in August 2008.
