Opportunities North 2008 is a business and investment conference, designed to showcase the North’s economic potential and to foster opportunities for partnership and investment. The "pan northern' conference was hosted tri-annually by the Yukon Chamber of Commerce and organized by a committee representing some of the Yukon's leading businesses.
Thanks to business and political leaders from Yukon, Alaska, NWT, Alberta and B.C. who are working toward a new era of prosperity with an agenda of infrastructure and resource development! Government, First Nations and business delegates shared information and engaged on exciting opportunities in mining, tourism, oil & gas, transportation and energy development, through business sessions and a trade show.
Opportunities North took place September 30th to October 2nd at the High Country Inn and the Yukon Convention Center in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon.
